Home Design & Build in Austin

We had originally talked to some architects, thinking that we would get a design, then hire a contractor. I am SO GLAD we didn't do that!

I am so glad I chose Moontower to design and build an ADU on our lot in East Austin. Whether dealing with the City’s less-than-efficient permitting or my ever-evolving vision, everyone on their team was always infinitely patient, exceedingly knowledgeable, friendly, and communicative. With complex zoning requirements, several large pecan trees in the middle of the site, and a tight budget, they faced a number of constraints. Their beautiful design made incredibly creative use of space and materials—resulting in a space that feels much more expansive and expensive than it actually is. Six months into living in it, I appreciate the quality of their workmanship every day.

After considering a remodel for 10+ years, we are very pleased that we decided to renovate our home and select Moontower Design Build. From the first encounter throughout the project, we give the entire experience five out of five stars!
Not only are we thrilled with the end result, but the process was, to our surprise, enjoyable. My experience with Moontower building our guest house exceeded my expectations. From the start, the site cleanliness (very important to me as we had a newborn and a curious toddler at home) and professionalism in the communication were all great. The construction team and Project manager were very easy to work with, flexible, and patient, as I often wanted to see all possible options before deciding. They gracefully answered my questions and put my mind at ease when we “took risks” with the selections or design. I am highly encouraged by our first experience with Moontower and look forward to when we can partner on future projects.

Overall, we have lots to praise and nothing to complain about. They are a great company, and everyone we've talked to at Moontower (which I think is most everyone) is a great person. Chatting with them felt like catching up with friends, not talking to a contractor or employee. My husband and I strongly recommend them to our friends (several of them are talking with them, actually), and we feel fortunate we found them way back when we started thinking about turning our okay home into a dream home.
