The initial goal for our clients was a complete remodel of the kitchen while exploring the possibility of a new

entry sequence through a second floor screened porch. After the initial schematic design they decided to move

forward with both scopes in order for the home to function the way they really want it to in the long term. In

addition to a new kitchen and pantry design, the scope includes a new screened porch and entry slider off of

the dining area with a steel exterior stair.

Design Goals by Priority:

1. Full high end kitchen remodel with all new cabinetry, appliances, and fixtures. Relocated

pantry entry integrated into the cabinet design.

2. New second floor screened porch tied into the existing roof with an exterior

stair enclosed by a wood slat privacy screen.

3. Ground level covered gravel patio underneath the screened porch with partial

wood slat shades.
